CLACTON Cricket Club manager Gary Kirk has spoken of his pride after the Seasiders cemented fourth spot in the Gibbs Denley East Anglian Premier League.
They finished with a 47-run victory against Copdock and Old Ipswichians on Saturday.
In addition to securing such a lofty position in the table, they also won more games and gleaned more points than in any previous EAPL campaign.
And reflecting on their success, Kirk said: “This has to be one of the best teams I’ve seen at Clacton.
“I’m proud of them as they’ve shown tremendous spirit all season.
“It makes me optimistic for the future."
