CLACTON skipper Ben France has challenged his side to get back on the victory trail in tomorrow’s trip to mid-table Sudbury.
The Seasiders had been protecting a proud unbeaten record before last weekend’s six-wicket defeat by Bury St Edmunds.
However, they are keen to put things right against their Suffolk rivals and France wants his players to show their “resilience”.
“It was a poor batting display against Bury,” he said.
“The lads had not practiced or played, largely due to the weather, and it showed.
“I felt we were also the victims of a couple of terrible umpiring decisions but we’ve proved we’re a resilient side this year.
“Now we have to bounce back when we play Sudbury.”
