Brentford sign Brightlingsea Regent youngster Babu Ombok

The teenage midfielder has joined the Bees under-18s side for the remainder of the season, following a successful trial at the West London club.

Ombok, who has also been part of Elite Coaching Academy, made four first-team appearances for the R's this season, scoring twice for the Pitching In Isthmian League division north outfit.

Ombok featured for the Bees' under-18 side in their 3-1 win over Cambridge United in a South East Youth Alliance League game, on Saturday.

Writing on social media, Brightlingsea wished Ombok well at his new club.
