FC CLACTON will play their football in the Essex Senior League after the new non-league constitution was announced for next season.
The Seasiders had been playing in the Thurlow Nunn League premier division.
But will now compete in the Essex Senior League, after the FA announced the make-up of the allocation of teams to Step 3-6 Leagues in the National League System.
Mark Nicholls' side will be joined in the division by Stanway Rovers, who have also made the switch from the Eastern Counties League top-flight.
And Little Oakley will also compete in the Essex Senior League next season, after moving up from first division south.
Little Oakley wrote on their Twitter page: 'WE ARE GOING UP!!

The Acorns join Athletic Newham and White Ensign in moving up from the division to the 20-club league, at Step 5.
Teams have been elevated by the FA using points-per-game, combined from the two seasons.

Premier Division: Brantham Athletic, Ely City, Fakenham Town, Gorleston, Hadleigh United, Haverhill Rovers, Kirkley and Pakefield, Lakenheath, Long Melford, March Town United, Mildenhall Town, Mulbarton Wanderers, Newmarket Town, Norwich United, Swaffham Town, Thetford Town, Walsham le Willows, Whitton United, Woodbridge Town, Wroxham.
First Division North: Blackstones, Bourne Town, Debenham LC, Diss Town, Downham Town, FC Parson Drove, Framlingham Town, Great Yarmouth Town, Harleston Town, Huntingdon Town, Ipswich Wanderers, King’s Lynn Town Reserves, Leiston Reserves, Needham Market Reserves, Norwich CBS, Peterborough North End Sports, Sheringham, UEA, Whittlesey Athletic, Wisbech St Mary.
First Division South: AFC Sudbury Reserves, Barkingside, Benfleet, Brimsdown, Buckhurst Hill, Burnham Ramblers, Coggeshall United, Cornard United, Frenford, Hackney Wick, Halstead Town, Harwich & Parkeston, Haverhill Borough, Holland, May & Baker, Newbury Forest, Park View, Wivenhoe Town, Wormley Rovers.
