RAY Fage took the honours when Clacton Golf Club’s seniors competed for their end-of-season Victor Lundorum Trophy.
First played in the late 1980s, this silverware features the winners of the six monthly medals, played during the summer.
The competition was played from white tees and a wet and windy start welcomed the contestants.
However, it turned out fine later in the morning.
The participants were greeted by the seniors captain’s representative past captain Jeff Sinnott for coffee before play and a light lunch and presentation afterwards.
The 2015 winner was past captain Fage, with a nett 73.
The second place was a draw between Rick Hale and Barry Lungius, both with a nett 80.
