JONATHAN Hewett was victorious in Clacton Golf Club’s Club Championship.
After 36 holes, he emerged as the winner with gross scores of 73 and 75 for a total of 148.
In second place, with two scores of 76 for a total of 152, was Matt Baker.
Ben Rendell finished third with gross scores of 76 and 77, for 153.
In the handicap competitions, the gold division (for handicaps of nine and below) was won by Peter Hewett, with nett scores of 69 and 74, for 143.
In the silver division (for handicaps between ten and 14), the winner was Steve Scott, with nett scores of 66 and 76, for 142.
In bronze division one (for handicaps of 15 to 19), the winner with nett scores of 70 and 71, for a total of 141, was Brady Diplock.
In bronze division two (for handicaps of 20 and above), the winner was Perry Bettis, with nett scores of 71 and 75, for 146.
