GREAT Bentley Running Club took part in the fourth 53-12 Cross-Country League race.
It was hosted by Ipswich JAFFA Running Club and held in the grounds of Suffolk Food Hall.
It was a dry but cold and blustery day, with the twists and turns of the course meaning the wind was against runners as often as it was behind them.
Bentley had their biggest junior start to date.
Eleven runners turned out – two of them for their first race.
Sisters Katie and Milly Presland were first to cross the line for the Blue Vests, with Milly being first under-11 girl.
They were followed by Michael Oates, Harrison Leek, Ben Lyon, Hallie Booty, Oliver Hill (first race), Emily Cook, Eve Cook, Megan Iddon (first race) and Amy Apps.
The junior team finished in seventh place and are eighth in the league.
The men’s team finished fourth and the women fifth, keeping hold of fifth place overall, just three points behind Harwich.
