Vehicle crash blocks road in both directions
A RESIDENT had to be taken to hospital for treatment after being involved in a crash in a rural road.
Paramedics from the East of England Ambulance Service were called to Great Bentley Road, in Frating, shortly before 1pm on Thursday.
One ambulance was sent to the scene of the accident, before a patient was transported to Colchester Hospital for treatment.
The crash, which involved just a single vehicle, resulted in Great Bentley Road, near Frating Abbey Farm Road, being blocked in both directions for a number of hours.
