AT the July meeting members, were pleased to welcome Hazel Notley. She gave a very interesting and informative talk about the charity she works for and all the work they are doing in remote parts of Romania. They have built a centre and feed about 60 hungry people each day. They also take clothes and other necessary items that make the villagers’ life easier. Viv gave the vote of thanks and after tea and cake Pat read from the friendship book. The meeting ended at 3.45pm. There is no meeting in August. The next meeting will be on September 9, at Hipkins cafe. If you would like to come please contact Valerie.
