A BEACH hut along Tendring District's coast has been found ablaze this evening.
Multiple fire engines have been called to attend the fire, which began in a Walton-on-the-Naze beach hut.
The fire started at approximately 7.35pm today and can be seen billowing smoke into the evening sky.
An Essex County Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "Firefighters were called to three beach huts alight in Walton last night (Tuesday 4 June) at 7:30pm. Firefighters believe the fire was started deliberately.
"Deliberate fires are dangers – they put lives at risk and also tie up our time when we might be needed for a more serious emergency somewhere else.
