THE speaker for the June meeting was Gary Egerton who gave a fascinating insight into Looking after VIP's'. He talked at length about his duties with members of our royal family, and other royal families, members of parliament and other dignitaries. His amusing anecdotes and examples had the listeners laughing.
A sumptuous supper prepared by the members was enjoyed and the meeting ended with a large raffle. Thanks were given to all who had helped make the evening such a success, and thanks were received form visiting Institutes. The evening ended with the singing of The National Anthem.
Our meeting next month is on July 9 at 7.30pm in the village hall. This is a Strawberry and Fizz Night'; speakers will talk on perfume not treated on animals and how to minimise your holiday packing. Admission is £5. Do come along and join us - open to members and non-members.
