Man fined after taking Samsung tablet from hotel
A MAN from St Osyth was fined after admitting to taking a woman’s Samsung tablet computer from a hotel.
David Glover, 29, of Beach Road, admitted a charge of theft by finding when he appeared at Thames Magistrates’ Court.
He took the £120 tablet from City View Hotel, in Cambridge Heath Road, London, on April 12 last year.
He was fined £120, must pay £120 compensation, £85 costs and a £32 surcharge to fund victim services.
