CLACTON Green Party candidate Chris Southall was joined by activists from 38 Degrees to campaign against cuts to the NHS.
Mr Southall spoke to shoppers in the town centre on Saturday alongside the not-for-profit political activist organisation, which was collecting signatures for a petition against healthcare privatisation.
“People were concerned about funding for the NHS and I was able to reassure them that the Green Party strongly opposes anymoves to privatise the NHS and campaigns for it to be properly funded from taxation,” said Mr Southall.
