The Gazette’s big election debate has taken place at the West Cliff Theatre in Clacton.
The five candidates vying to be Clacton’s MP at May 7’s General Election took part in the hustings on Monday night.
All the Clacton Parliamentary candidates, including Douglas Carswell (Ukip), David Grace (Lib Dem), Chris Southall (Green), Giles Watling (Con) and Tim Young (Lab), took part.
It was chaired by Chris Opperman, a former presenter on the BBC World Service and BBC Radio Suffolk.
