UKIP leader Nigel Farage is visiting Clacton today - hitting the election trail with Douglas Carswell in the run-up to May 7.
The politicians gave the Clacton Gazette an exclusive interview at their party office in Station Road before visiting the Nico Manufacturing hinge factory in Oxford Road.
They then moved on to a coffee morning at Coppins Hall community centre where the surprise arrival of Mr Farage was greeted with applause.
He revealed scrapping university tuition fees, as well as giving voters the power to trigger by-elections, will be among Ukip's election pledges when their manifesto is unveiled.
