HOOK Iris Elizabeth(née Blott) Iris passed away peacefully in the presence of her husband Peter, along with her daughter Anne. We had been married for 66 years minus 2 days. She was loved and respected by all especially her husband. Our marriage was very special. The funeral will take place at Weeley Crematorium on Wednesday 30th October at 12:30pm. No floral tributes please but donations can be made payable to The British Heart Foundation and may be given to the undertakers Lesley Barlow and Family, after the service or sent to 98-102 Station Road, Clacton-on-Sea CO15 6AA. I would like to express how much Anne and I appreciated the excellent care and attention that my wife received by the entire staff at Colchester General Hospital. They are to be commended without exception for the wonderful caring service, especially bearing in mind the constant duress that they work under. My wife's stay was short, surviving only for three and a half days. The above also applies to the aftercare and administrative staff who were endearing. Thank you again, best wishes Peter J Hook.
