HAMMOND Hon.F.IoD. Eric Cecil Eric passed away on 26/12/16 at St.Helena's Hospice, Colchester, after a difficult year, aged 96. He was a very dearly loved, gentle and kind man who will be hugely missed by his Wife Irene and all the family and by all who knew him. Although a prominent and well known figure in the City of London for many years, after retirement, he became involved in voluntary work in various capacities including fundraising for two special charities. Funeral service to be held at Weeley Crematorium on Thursday 19th January at 11am. Family flowers only please but, if wished, donations in lieu may be sent to: St. Helena's Hospice c/o P.G.
