AN investigation has been launched after a caravan caught fire in a scrapyard at Thorpe-le-Soken in the early hours of this morning.
The blaze broke out just after 12.30am in Harwich Road.
Firefighters from Clacton and Weeley attended the incident at a disused scrapyard.
It took firefighters wearing breathing apparatus almost an hour to put out the fire.
The cause of the blaze is being investigated.
