A CAR fire brought Walton High Street to a standstill as fire crews tackled the blaze.
A Vauxhall estate car parked near the chemists burst into flames yesterday afternoon.
The Frinton fire crew was called at 4.42pm as smoke engulfed the car and poured into High Street.
Bystanders watched on and filmed the scene as firefighters donned breathing masks to put out the blaze.
