A CLACTON care home took part in a week-long national event aimed at championing quality care.
A host of guest speakers and visitors visited Corner House Care Home as part of celebrations for Good Care Week.
Good Care Week is an event set up to celebrate quality care practices in homes across the country.
Speakers including Clacton Family Support and Tendring Older People’s Forum visited the home to share information with residents and carers throughout the week.
Corner House director Rahul Jagota was also invited to speak at a Good Care event at Colchester United’s Weston Homes Community Stadium.
He said: “A lot of care homes seem to live under the shadows of poor practice and we wanted to join in with Good Care Week to spread a bit of positivity.
“The whole event was very informative, and it gave us the opportunity to share stories of our good practices and share our vision for the future.”
