ENVIRONMENTALLY-friendly residents are being urged to book their place on a waste-busting scheme in Clacton.
Essex County Council’s Waste Busters scheme is aimed at reducing the amount of food wasted. It is estimated that a third of household waste is food.
Those who want to take part in the training event are invited to Scott’s garden Studio, 20 Rosemary Road, on November 18 from 9am to 5pm.
Kevin Bentley, cabinet member for waste and recycling, said: “By becoming a Waste Buster you can truly make a lasting impact to not only your local community, but Essex as whole.”
To book a place call Kristina Jackson on 07717 867166.
